-
High-Speed Precision
Our industrial CO2 laser systems deliver clean cuts for complex geometries with a positioning accuracy of ±0.1mm.
-
Non-Contact Process
Laser cutting eliminates mechanical stress on the material, ensuring that thin polycarbonate films remain flat and distortion-free.
-
Intricate Detail
Ideal for sharp internal corners and micro-scale details that are impossible to achieve with traditional CNC routing bits.

| Max Cutting Area | 1300mm x 2500mm (51" x 98") |
| Thickness Range | 0.125mm – 10mm (Best for < 6mm) |
| Positioning Accuracy | ± 0.1 mm |
| Minimum Hole Diameter | Equal to material thickness |
| Edge Finish | Clean, matte finish (Slight tint on thicker sheets) |

Precision cutting for thin PC films (0.125mm - 1mm) used in overlays and labels.

High-contrast etching for serial numbers, logos, and industrial permanent markings.

Perfect for complex decorative panels or small industrial components with tight radiuses.
Laser Cutting vs. CNC Routing
Laser Cutting
- Best For Films & Sheets < 6mm
- Intricate Detail Exceptional
- Tooling Cost None (Non-contact)
- Edge Finish Matte / Slight Tint
- Internal Corners Sharp / Zero Radius
CNC Routing
- Best For Thick Sheets > 6mm
- Intricate Detail Limited by Bit Size
- Tooling Cost Bit Maintenance
- Edge Finish Crystal Clear (Polished)
- Edge Geometry Beveling & Tapping
Laser Cutting FAQ
For polycarbonate thicker than 3mm, laser cutting typically produces a slight brownish or "toasted" edge due to the thermal nature of the laser. For parts requiring 100% crystal-clear edges, we recommend our CNC Routing service with vapor polishing.
Laser cutting is most effective for thicknesses between 0.125mm and 6mm. It is the superior choice for thin films and overlays where traditional mechanical cutting might cause material shifting.
No. We laser cut through the protective PE film to prevent surface scratches and minimize smoke residue on the sheet. We recommend peeling the film off only after final assembly.
Our industrial CO2 laser systems achieve a positioning accuracy of ±0.1mm. However, due to the slight taper caused by the laser beam, verticality may vary slightly on thicker materials (above 5mm).
Yes. We can process coated polycarbonate sheets. While the laser will cut cleanly, the coating's properties at the immediate cut line may be altered. For high-precision AR applications, please consult our engineering team.
Absolutely. Laser cutting has zero tooling costs, making it perfect for rapid prototyping. We can usually ship prototypes within 24-48 hours after receiving your .DXF or .AI files.
